Khor Virap Monastery is known, above all, by its location - from this place you can enjoy one of the most beautiful views of the biblical Mount Ararat. The depth of the pit is 6 metres. On the territory of the monastery there is also monastery Astvatsatsin (Godmother). Noravank is a medieval Armenian monastery located in a narrow gorge. The gorge is known for its brick-red, sheer and tall cliffs across the monastery. The monastery is popular with the two storey church St Holy Mother of God. To get on the second floor is possible by a narrow stone-made staircase from the face of the building.
